Spinner inserts for marbles or loose bearings
thingiverse
These are two-part inserts that can be put in place of 608 bearings in fidget toys. The inserts are designed to hold either a 5/8" (16mm) marble or a 9/16" loose ball bearing. Marbles have less mass than a 608 bearing or the 9/16" ball, and they're often cheaper than loose bearings. Avoid marbles intended for decorations as it's common for them to be egg-shaped. Using ABS for the frame and inserts works best because all three parts can be easily welded together using acetone. Other materials can be used, but a two-part epoxy will be needed to hold the inserts in place, and this method won't be as strong. The frame used in the picture is Fidget Tri-Spinner Knurled 608 Bearing by idnarbj (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1842914).
