Spinner Handle Adapter for Twist Lock
thingiverse
I made the Pokeball Spinner for my 3-year-old, who loved it but couldn't use it. So I created a handle, then modified it to work with the twist-lock style caps that I prefer. Simply attach one cap and the handle to the spinner, while attaching the other cap to the bottom of the handle. I printed the Pokeball version, which is not as refined and required supports, even though supports were used, the top cap did not come out clearly as the pokeball design. I'm hoping not to need supports on the newer, more universal version. I am a complete novice, so please forgive the crudeness of these models. V1 will require supports, but the other handle and caps will not depend on your printer. I successfully printed the handle with a 2mm brim, but more careful settings might have made that less necessary. Edit: jp_math posted a sturdier version that is less prone to breaking. I like his idea and would recommend it: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2873182/#files
