We require 4 packs of 608 Type ball bearings for this project. You can find the specific ball bearings we recommend at this link, https://amzn.to/2KnqpZ5, which we like because they are affordable (approximately $12 per pack). For optimal spinning performance, it's a good idea to carefully remove the plastic dust shields from the ball bearings using a needle and then give them a thorough cleaning with solvent such as Acetone. After that, let them air dry completely. Please note that you will need to print our "cap" model twice.
