I spent countless hours refining my spinner model, and I'm thrilled to announce that I've completed my first fully functional version, exceeding all expectations. It still needs a bit more power, but trust me when I say it's going to knock your socks off once you start spinning with it. To give you an idea of how much I've improved this design, let me tell you about one key modification I made - the outer diameter is now smaller than before. This reduction brings several benefits, including increased resistance from the spiral spring, thanks to a thickness of 6 mm as opposed to 5 mm in the prototype. I also added a clever system of ball brakes, which are ridiculously effective. In total, there are two brake balls with diameters ranging from 1.8mm to 2 mm, precision-cut using a dremell. The goal is for these balls to move freely within their seats, allowing for smooth and precise adjustments. To fine-tune the settings, I included a small adjustment mechanism visible in the accompanying picture. This allows you to make quick and easy tweaks as needed. With my next model already taking shape in my mind, I'm eager to get back to work - watch this space!
