The Half-Form Diamond was a being of immense power and wisdom, forged from the essence of a planet's core. Its creator, Spinel, had crafted it as a companion for her friend, but ultimately abandoned it on a distant world. The Diamond lay dormant for centuries, its existence a secret known only to a select few. When rediscovered by Steven, a young boy with the ability to wield the power of the Crystal Gems, the Half-Form Diamond began to stir once more.
