A convenient replacement for the standard 2.50" bar spindle liner used on CNC lathes is proposed here. The original spindle liner is constructed from a single piece of nylon with an outside diameter of 5.25 inches and a length of 49 inches. However, machining such a long piece may not be feasible for everyone. Therefore, an alternative solution has been devised. This spindle liner is fabricated from three separate pieces of nylon, accompanied by one mild steel mounting flange and a pipe connection. In cases where different sizes are required, only the three nylon pieces need to be modified, thereby simplifying the process and reducing the amount of work involved.
