I made this spindle holder to replace some of the original broken spindle mounts on my deck and railings. They did last 3 years. I didn't make them like the original because I'd have to take the railings apart to get them on, and it was a bear the first time. I will update the info of my holder after I see if it survives the winter. Also in the works, an angled spindle mount for the stairs. Mine are aluminum spindles but I bet they'll hold the wood ones as long as they are .75mm O.D. I print 10 of then at a time and use them as the original mounts break.Printing 10 with a 30mm speed takes just shy of 7 hours on my Ender 3 S1 Pro.
