Here is the spindle holder for the ["Fully 3D Printed Small CNC Router/Plotter"](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3842401)\r\n\r\nSee PDF for print orientation. I used four perimeter parts.\r\n\r\nEdit 9-6-19: The spindle motor from Harbor Freight has a problem, and it's not just the power - it's the collet on this tool that can't hold the end mill in place. I was testing milling on 1/8" acrylic, and to my surprise, it was cutting beautifully with shallow depth of cuts. However, holding the end mill in the collet proved to be a major issue. I used a .073" diameter (.125" shank) single flute end mill, but as I ran additional tests, the mill would suddenly bury itself in the material. The end mill was pulling out of the collet, and no amount of tightening with pliers could fix it. To make matters worse, I damaged the locking pin that keeps the shaft from turning, rendering it useless. It's time for a redesign using a tool with a better collet. My searches turned up cheap tools, but many comments highlighted their subpar collets. Now I'm considering the Dremel Stylo 2050-15, which costs $50 - over half of what I initially spent on the whole build. Cutting acrylic would be a nice feature to have, but if you only work with soft materials like machinable wax, the HF tool might suffice.
