A mounting bracket and coupling assembly designed specifically for an Omron rotary encoder on a SIEG SC4 lathe, compatible with the Clough42 ELS system. The assembly consists of a coupler that bridges 16mm to 6mm shafts, featuring a 4mm keyway on the larger shaft and a hole for securing the smaller shaft with a 3mm set screw. The mounting bracket utilizes a 1/2" stud that replaces the original lower right cap head screw. This custom part requires fabrication, with dimensions tailored to suit individual needs. The assembly is optimized for use with an Omron encoder model E6B2-CWZ6C 1024P/R and may not be compatible with other models or lathe configurations. To facilitate sharing of the design, STEP files have been uploaded to Thingiverse, allowing others to modify and adapt the assembly for their specific needs. However, please note that this design is tailored to the author's SIEG SC4 lathe and may require modifications for compatibility with other equipment.
