Spindle Bearing Adapter 2.0
thingiverse
This is a readaptation of Spindle Bearing Hub by neredera providing: a more elastic surface for mounting the bearing (UPDATE: improved homing for safer mount), a more elastic surface for fitting to spindle, parametric design (OpenSCAD) just like its predecessor, to fit to your spindle hole diameter and bearing diameters. Also inspired by HTA3D P3Steel bearing adapters. The printed sample in the photo is made of two halves (PETG) that perfectly fit one another, balancing the forces over the bearings and avoiding unwanted side movements. If you own a P3steel (HTA3D is my model) and are looking for a filament holder, I tried some designs but ultimately found the best solution in adding approximately 50cm of Teflon filament sheathing like you can see in the attached photos. That way your filament will run smoothly even when the X-axis does a full sweep. Also, you'll be able to reach high Z levels without any filament curving problem.
