Spinder eagle 2 bike rack strap extension
thingiverse
Because my new e-bike has wider tires, I needed longer straps for the Spinder Eagle 2 bike rack. These cannot be delivered. That's why I made a 7.3 cm (2.87 inch) extension so that I don't have to replace my entire bike rack. Material PETG Temperature 250 due to firmness Support 80% so that the holes don't get support. Printing in my opinion with many edges so that most lines are horizontal and continuous. This is because of the pulling power. You can put the existing strap over the narrow part and then reattach it to the bike rack without the short metal ring. There is a small round recess so that the holder fits into the plastic hole of the bike rack. This replaces the metal ring. In order to bundle the pulling force, a notch has been made to relieve the weakest side. The parts are not directly opposite each other. I am a hobbyist trying to design something with common sense. Suggestions from professionals are always welcome. https://youtu.be/w4-g1pnHbLM
