Yesterday, I experienced an unfortunate incident where I spilled both a glass of wine and water on my desk within minutes due to the dropsies. This inspired me to create a coaster with raised sides using ViaCAD, aiming to prevent small bumps from turning into wet disasters. The source file is also available for others to use. For future iterations, I plan to design a version with an opening for mug handles. Recently, I printed the coaster in PLA at .5mm and used slic3r for hollowing. The result was excellent, as it passed both intentional and unintentional tests without any issues.
