Spiked Snow Wheels: 1:10 Scale RC Car
thingiverse
Strengthen your vehicle's performance on icy terrains with these spiked snow wheels, designed to fit easily onto standard 12mm hex hubs initially used for paddle wheels by Barspin. Expect a video showcasing the wheels soon after they were printed and mounted on a Traxxas Slash, despite it being too dark to record at that time. However, an update revealed that the initial design was too small, prompting the creator to start from scratch and develop larger wheels with 2" outer and 3" inner circles, still in testing phase. Print and bolt these upgraded wheels using Makerware, slightly scaling it up by 1-2% to avoid tight hexhub fitting. But remember to rotate them 180 degrees before printing the cone wheel support. Additionally, print on a raft for better stability during the process. These innovative wheels were designed using Tinkercad, an easy-to-use software.
