We are an elementary First Lego League team that excels in innovative projects. For our Hydrodynamics project this year, we designed a device that leverages water flowing through a downspout to produce electricity efficiently. We successfully generated 8.5 volts and charged a 1.5 amp phone battery with our invention. The devices used to create the generators are available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Yosoo-Generator-Small-Hydroelectric-Power/dp/B01A0A2BKG/ref=sr_ph_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515790728&sr=sr-1&keywords=small+hydroelectric+generators. We also utilized fittings from Home Depot, which can be found at https://www.homedepot.com/p/DURA-1-2-in-Schedule-40-PVC-Female-Adapter-C435-005/100343506.
