SPIDERMAN LED Light/Nightlight

I'm planning on creating many more logos like this one, so feel free to suggest any ideas you might have! This is a 3D printed LED SpiderMan Logo created using a dual extruder printer. To make it, I started by tracing the logo in Solidworks from a JPEG image. Then, I used the software to add depth and fillets to the design before saving it as its own STL file for printing. Next, I designed a custom plate around the logo with screw holes and saved that as another STL file. Finally, I created a shell that fits over both the plate and the logo, complete with aligned screw holes for easy assembly. To print this project, I used my Rep 2 printer to create the shell in black PLA. For the plate and SpiderMan Logo, I used Bendlay filament - it's extremely translucent, allowing 91% of light to pass through. After printing, I added an RGB LED strip around the inner shell and connected it to an IR receiver for remote control.
