Spiderman iPhone 6 Case (Two-Part)
thingiverse
This is my own cosmetic remix design, showcased here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3357013. I've created this 2-part phone case in Solidworks 2018. You can access the original files I used to create it if you'd like to tinker with them or directly remix the design. The OuterShell is designed to be printed using a type of TPU filament, and I've done similar designs before on my Thingiverse page. I strongly recommend printing the OuterShell with a flexible filament that has a shore hardness of around 90A, which was comparable to NinjaTek Semiflex before it was discontinued. For this project, I'm attempting to use NinjaTek Cheetah but may resort to Semiflex if it doesn't work out. The InnerShell can be printed using PLA or ABS, as well as other hard plastic filaments. If your printer is accurately tuned, you might not need supports for the middle section; I've had success with a similar piece in the past (check my other Thingiverse projects for details). Any printing imperfections or support scars on the InnerShell will be concealed by the TPU OuterShell, making it less critical which filament path you choose as long as it provides a comfortable fit. The OuterShell.stl file is a complete case in its own right. If you like this shape but prefer it to be tighter against your phone, see OuterShellOnly.stl for an alternative version.
