Spiderman Bust Edit
thingiverse
I've been on a mission to find the perfect Spider-Man bust in my preferred style, and this original bust was the closest match I could find. The only problem is that I wanted to print it out with @prox3dregina's Bronze PLA instead of painting it. After spending countless hours experimenting, I decided the best way to restore the details was to freehand them using Meshmixer. It took an eternity, but I'm thrilled with the result and impressed by how well it matches the original scan. I even managed to optimize the design so that it would print without supports, except for his neckline which I left intact. However, I did add supports under his chin to ensure the best possible outcome, and printing at 75 degrees proved to be the perfect solution.
