Spyder, devoid of an electric motor, employs pressurized fluid tubes for control. Solar heat or another heat source powers this system. The solar energy is utilized to increase pressure in the tubes affixed to each leg. As pressure rises, the shape of the pipes changes within the legs. For movement up and down, there are two plastic tubes per leg. A pressure differential between these tubes propels the leg sideways.
