I crafted this as the final flourish for my Mayor costume. None of the pre-made versions met my expectations, and the one from the movie was a disappointment - it only had six legs, likely to simplify the clay modeling process. The hourglass area is slightly recessed, and I achieved a great effect by using some of my wife's nail polish in it.
