Spider Pumpkin Of DOOM
thingiverse
Halloween is the time when everyone can explore their inner self and dress up as they wish without any mockery. This year, I realized my Halloween preparations were incomplete - minions! How can anyone be respected without minions? Bring your terror upon the world with spider pumpkins' dopey glowing eyes of doom. With little time and so much world to cover, harnessing the power of amateur distributed manufacturing is the way forward. Calling all 3D printing enthusiasts: make a spider pumpkin of doom and release it on an unsuspecting world! Find eight holes at the underside of the body; six for legs, two for arms (or customize as you like). Use stiff 1/16" wire for legs and arms; dry cleaning hangers work great. Attach the legs to the body and pincers onto arms. Insert a LED/3V battery combination and place the top. Share a photo of your newly created minion so we can all observe in growing terror as the furor of spider pumpkins spreads! This design is derived from Colehard's pumpkin (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4470); thanks to Colehard for providing such a well-modeled pumpkin, making this thing a reality in just one afternoon.
