I retooled the foundation plate, ensuring an exact fit for the underside of the Yeti microphone's lip. I integrated sturdy vertical pillars to firmly secure the mic in place and then supplemented it with a secondary lower support ring to provide ample clearance for the USB cable to be plugged directly into the microphone.
