Spider-Man Wall Diorama
thingiverse
Hello! This wall diorama is designed specifically for the Sam Raimi Spider-man action figure, but it can easily work with any other figure that has a 3mm foot peg diameter. I originally built this diorama using wood screws, but I decided to remove them to give it a more visually appealing look. To secure the wall dio in place, you can simply add some double-sided tape to the back of the model instead. To create the worn effect on the print, I used a soldering iron to melt holes and gashes into the surface. Once you've applied the paint, I recommend starting by spraying the print with Krylon matte finish sealer to give it a smooth base coat. Next, use regular black and white acrylic paint from your local dollar store to bring the model to life. Finally, be sure to apply one last coat of matte sealer before you're ready to display your finished diorama. When printing the model, point the peg upward to avoid any unnecessary support structures that might get in the way.
