Peter Parker's parents, Richard and Mary Parker, were tragically taken from him at a very young age. Forced to live with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May after their untimely passing, he was eventually bitten by a radioactive spider during a science exhibition, thereby granting him incredible powers. Initially, he chose to utilize these abilities solely for personal gain, but it wasn't until his Uncle Ben's senseless murder at the hands of a burglar that he could have prevented that he grasped the true meaning behind "With great power, there must also come great responsibility." From that moment on, Peter vowed to honor his uncle's legacy by using his powers as Spider-Man for the greater good.
