Spider Guider (New Part) - No Drilling for Metal Washer of SDHayes Remix - for Hadley 114/900 Telescope
prusaprinters

You can use this part to stop screw traveling if you have added a 1" or 25mm washer behind your secondary holder for Hadley Telescope by Maff or remix by SDHayes (who was the one to add the large washer).

This helps to create a guided metal surface to screw against, the metal to protect from plastic digging, without the need to power drill anything to keep screws aligned and not walking around on the washer (retaining divot).

Please note, this part requires a SMALL accurate placement of the same silicone glue that you already purchased for the mirrors.

Place glue using a tool in small patches that cannot and will not reach any screw threads once pressed. Glue this printed part to the metal washer on one side. Glue it with the small taper of the hole to the washer, the wider hole faces the spider.

Be careful to align the central hole of secondary holder, washer, and this printed part to not cause interference. The central screw should be central to the hole of all, and not touch any sides of the washer Or this part. It should be free.

Then, to set the glue, wind in your adjusting screws modestly against the flat spots of this part until the glue is set. Then you later put them into the holes and use the telescope.
