Spider Drone 1.0
myminifactory
This drone model is part of the MicroDrone 3.0 design competition. Welcome to SpiderDrone 1.0 Please print both pieces (use supports) immediately. It's highly recommended to use three top layers, two bottom layers, and three perimeter walls for optimal results. Printing with ABS material, which is highly recommended, will give added strength when acetone vapor-smoothing is applied. Remove the circuit board from the microdrone and also detach the four legs (make sure to remember which leg goes where). Place the legs into the newly printed base, position the circuit board on top, and secure with four screws. Do not attach too tightly; a snug fit is all that's required. Route the battery cable so it points towards the rear and connect the cables for the four legs. Test the drone to ensure it still flies correctly. Finally, place the spider shell on top, with the head directly over the circuit board and the body overlapping the rear blades. Secure with two screws into the printed legs. If you don't have two additional screws, you can remove two screws from the circuit board (just remember to leave two screws in opposite corners still holding the circuit board down). Fly! Note: You may need to adjust the trim controls to achieve normal flight.
