The spider scare box in https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759750 inspired me to create a much smaller one for a 20% scale spider from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:179544. A small piece of yarn fixed to the lid draws out the spider from its hiding place. To set it up, slip the yarn through the hole in the lid and close it. Determine the best length by sliding the lid open while your finger holds the yarn in place. If the spider emerges nicely on top of the lid and retreats when you close it, secure the yarn with a drop of glue.
