Spicegun, Revolver for spices
pinshape
I've been putting this project on hold since winter, but I'm excited to share that a brand new version is just around the corner. This innovative design boasts a foldable ergonomic grip that's sure to impress. With it, you'll be able to add up to six spices to your meals with ease and finesse. After spotting a similar concept in an Asian designer's portfolio, I was inspired to create my own unique approach. While it may not fit perfectly on a ToM, I believe a scaled-down version could work well. However, all parts will require some external support for stability. Here are the instructions: * For large printers, make sure to use huge print settings. * Scale down as small as you can, but be aware that tiny prints may not yield the best results. * Rendering: watch this video (http://youtu.be/RvXwZ2PwPZI) for a better understanding. Key assembly steps: * Print handle, tube, and outlet parts with outer support in mind. * Grind the friction fit into place. * Glue the top of the revolver drum onto the base plate. * Prepare a wire for the rotation trigger; it will pass through the channel in the handle part. * First, fold a triangular shape on the revolver side that hooks onto the drum's teeth. * Fill spices into the drum and assemble the gun using an 8mm rod and end nuts. * Use stickers to label each spice on the outside of the device – choose whether it will be designed for left- or right-handed use.
