Spice rack
prusaprinters
This is a spice rack which uses 1/4" (6.35mm) dowels. There is a slot on the back side of the bracket so it mounts flush when using a 3M Command Strip. The brackets are narrow so the command strip needs to be cut in half lengthwise. If you don't have any Command Strips, any double-sided foam adhesive tape should work.It should fit all standard size spice jars.Directions:Print one of each sideCut 3 dowels to the same lengthGlue the dowels into the holes (I used hot glue)Apply command strip to the slot on the back of each bracketApply to your cabinet doorUpdate 2023-09-23: At the suggestion of @RCNet I've added a version where the base extends in the opposite direction.Update 2021-03-36: After 2.5 years, one of the command strips let go, so I redesigned the base to accept full width strips for better hold. Update: 2.5 years later and it's still holding!Update 2020-08-16: Added version for use in the center of the rack. Thanks @xaviervilla for the idea of making a version with the holes all the way through for use as a center support.Category: Organization
