I'm converting an idle kitchen drawer into a compact spice rack that can hold 3-4 dozen two-inch spice containers. To do this, I employed a hole saw to drill precise holes in an old, worn-out sliding cutting board. Looking back, I would probably opt for plywood the next time around as it's a more suitable material for the task at hand.
