Spice Caddy
thingiverse
Create a stylish lasercut rack/caddy for organizing and transporting herbs and spices. Made from 3mm thick plywood (I used Bamboo 5-ply), this project also requires M4 x 20mm set screws (12 pan-head with flat slot) and stainless rods, 186.4mm long (not exact). Initially, scrap 1/4" tubes were polished for a brushed stainless look before cutting to size and tapping M4 holes. Ensure the tube bore is suitable for an M4 tap to avoid wasting time. Lasercut the pieces twice, engraving but not cutting specific detail areas. Finish with desired coating or paint, using clear polyurethane gloss varnish in this case. Assemble by laying one end piece down and slotting other parts into place before fixing tube and screws. Measuring about 193mm long x 104mm wide x 230mm high when finished.
