The Spansion S25FL127SABNF and S70FL01GSAGBH Flash Memory offer 128Mbit and 1Gbit storage, respectively, at speeds of up to 108MHz and 133MHz via SPI communication. The compact boards can be mounted directly onto a Teensy 3.X without interference with other add-ons like battery chargers or motion sensors or ports such as I2C on pins 16/17. Boards feature a 100 nF bypass capacitor to reduce high-frequency noise and 100K pullups on the CS lines for improved chip select performance. Numerous SPIFlash libraries simplify usage, while these chips boast read/write speeds of approximately 400 microseconds per 256-byte page and erase times of 44 seconds (S25FL127) or 106 seconds (S70FL01G) for the entire chip.
