A spherometer is a compact tool used to measure the radius of curvature on spherical surfaces, and can be printed with any 3D printer. Attachments such as domed bolts or regular bolts along with acorn nuts are required for use alongside it. Additionally, a low-cost dial gauge helps in taking measurements. I have included an Excel spreadsheet with the provided STL file to calculate lens characteristics based on spherometer readings. Prior to accurate functioning, distance B between the domed legs must be calibrated. To achieve this, mark the legs with a pencil and place the device on paper, measuring the lead marks with calipers for an average of three readings.
