To create TinkerCAD accounts for students, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Tinkercad website ([www.tinkercad.com](http://www.tinkercad.com)) and click on "Sign Up" in the top right corner. 2. Enter your first name, last name, email address, password, and a username. 3. Click on "Create Account". 4. Verify your account by clicking on the link sent to your email address. Alternatively, students can also use their Google account or other existing accounts to sign in to Tinkercad. To design a SpheroHatWrite clip using TinkerCAD: 1. Open TinkerCAD and create a new project. 2. Click on "Create a New Project" and select the "Sphero" template. 3. Use the toolbar to add shapes, lines, and other features to your design. 4. Resize the hole for the writing instrument by selecting it and dragging its edges. 5. Save and download your design as an STL file. To program a Sphero using the Lightning Lab app: 1. Download and install the Lightning Lab app on your phone or tablet. 2. Connect your Sphero to the app via Bluetooth. 3. Select "Draw" from the menu and choose a pattern or create your own. 4. Adjust the speed and other settings as needed. Note: The SpheroHatWriteClip with a ½” diameter hole is available for students who do not have access to TinkerCAD.
