SPHERO BABY FOOT
thingiverse
The "Sphéro Baby Foot" was created by students at the FabLab Sarreguemines FABULIS (www.fabulis.org). The FabLab is a high school that is run by students with disabilities. The "Sphéro Baby Foot" allows all fablab users to make games and have fun while learning to program with Sphero and Tickle App. The parts were printed on a Makerbot 5G by the students of the ULIS pro, and they were designed on Solidworks by high school students. The printing time for the "Sphéro Baby Foot" is over 20 hours. Students make their own educational materials to learn programming basics while having fun. Objectives include teamwork, project management, programming, 3D drawing (Solidworks), using Fablab tools (3D printer, laser cutting), and MAKESTORMING... Mathematics and Science. The audience for this project is people aged 7 to 77 years old in secondary schools. The subjects include mechanical design, how to maintain the wooden cleats in position? To present the project, students will make a table football for Sphero using Makestorming. They will need equipment such as a 3D printer, laser cut (optional), Sphero, Tickle App, wooden brackets (25mm x 25mm x 2.5m) x 5, and MDF 3mm. The rules of the game are as follows: The recommended age for players is 7 to 77 years old. The number of players can be one against one, two against two, or two against one. The equipment needed is listed in the attached table. The aim of the game is to score five points first. One goal equals one point. The beginning of the game starts with a draw. The commitment (player who benefited from the draw) is done before the team goalkeeper commits. The rules are as follows: teams attack in turn, and the attacking team has 5 minutes to score a goal. When a team scores before the end of 5 minutes, it passes the Sphero and tablet to the opposing team. The defending team has 2 minutes to position their players on defense. The attacking team can drag their players on the wing. Players can manipulate their attacking goalkeeper, defenders, and midfielders. Players can also manipulate their defending goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders, and attackers. Prohibitions include any attempt to distract or have an aggressive attitude against opponents. The duration of the game is 4 times two hours. The preparation level for this project is beginner. There will be no evaluation, as they are not in 1930 ;).
