Sphero (and Charging Base)
thingiverse
Sphero, the ultimate educational robot, is a blast to have in class. I use one in my kindergarten class as a reward and for quick programming lessons using the SPRK Lab app's visual coding language. But what about when you want to take Sphero on the go without electricity or Bluetooth? The solution is simple - print your own! Printer Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Low Infill: 10% Notes: My Rep 2 can handle printing a complete sphere, but you know your machine best. After printing, I designed Sphero with the iconic face raised slightly. However, I forgot to change my filament from white to blue at 98% through the print. Instead, I used my artistic skills to add incredible detail with permanent markers. I created this design in Tinkercad, where I make all of my projects.
