I became captivated by the sphericon, which I discovered online - its actual name is unclear. So I decided to create a pair of these objects, initially starting with one featuring an octagon as its base and a polygon with 16 sides. All sphericon objects have a uniform distance of 40mm between their parallel sides on the two-dimensional shape. I scaled up the 16-sided object by 250% for a more visually appealing result.
