Proof that spherical turbines are possible: take this concept for a spin. Just remember to keep your wits about you - and safety goggles on hand, too. Before You Start: Note of Caution Be advised, these models can rotate extremely quickly. It's possible they could shatter into fragments upon startup. Safety Precautions: Use eye protection when handling the device. Only print and start by blowing compressed air gently, then proceed to spin manually. When you've had a little break-in, you should be good to go - just blow in that intake hole whenever you're ready!
