Spherical Mould
thingiverse
Hello Thingiverse Friends! I've just uploaded the files for a simple, 2-part spherical mold that lets you create spherical things with ease. It's designed to bolt together securely and the material can be poured in through the hole at the top of one of the halves - I've included a separate file with all the details. Originally, I created this mold to make bath bombs, those colorful, fizzy balls you put in your bath for a relaxing treat. But now that it's up on Thingiverse, I'm excited to see how others might use it. To avoid leakage, I recommend adding a small seal of silicone or rubber between the two halves. This design was made using Autodesk 123D Design and has been optimized for printability. UPDATE: I've added a holder for the mold while it's cooling and setting - now you can let your creations set in peace!
