Ball shaped sculpture comprising four spherical iris diaphragms. It is comprised of 12 blades connected to a frame constructed from four interconnected rings. Print Settings Printer: Cubicon Single Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 mm layer thickness Infill: 100% infill density Notes: Fabricated using Cubicon ABS (natural, blue, red and black). Post-Printing The external frame was meant to be bonded together, but I ended up retaining the duct tape that I used for testing its construction. How I Designed This The foundation of this design was created in Onshape (design files available upon request). Next, Tinkerplay connectors were integrated, and it underwent refinement in MeshMixer.
