Spherical door knob handle, flat and pre-holed

I loved the unique shape of blargh123123123123123's original knob design so much that I bumped up the poly count on the sphere, giving it a more robust presence as well, and created not one but two versions: a "flat" base for you to choose where to place your holes, and a modified version tailored specifically to my knob-less aluminium door with three holes arranged in a precise 3cm-sided triangle. It was a real challenge to screw the thing in, requiring a thin screwdriver that I didn't always have on hand, but I refused to compromise by scaling down the sphere or expanding the base. That would've undermined the entire design. Next, I gave the knob a fresh coat of spray paint for an even more polished look. For optimal durability, I recommend printing this object lying on its side – it's all about harnessing the force in your favor, rather than letting it fight against the lamination of the material.
