Spherical container for 6 CTB’s,Transport of goods at moon landings, pressurized and conditioned.Design:A container is needed for transporting goods to the moon. The goods need to stay on temperature and on pressure, aboard the ship, inside the ship, on the moon surface and in storage on the moon surface.This is a design of a spherical container, the choice for spherical is; an equal load on the wall, light weight, easy to roll and room for heating equipment (under pressure the wall gets harder, like a tire). For takeoff support at the flange is needed (hardpoint).Weight and material:Efforts are made to bring the container to 124kg (empty) the hull was in the beginning made of stainless steel (empty 250 kg: to heavy ) pressurized will make it strong and suitable to roll over the moon surface by hand.The aluminum container will have a total weight of 232kg (124+108=232kg total)Seize:The diameter of the container is 1.3m and the hatch is 0.85m. The hatch is attached with 15 bolts (use pneumatical tool) this is a simple, fool prove solution. It needs a small airlock to connect to rover or habitat. The goods direct needed on the surface can be picked out of the airlock.Capacity: The container can hold 6 CTB’s. With 16 containers it is possible to move 96 CTB’s.Reuse:If empty the container can be used as a fridge inside the habitat, or to transport goods back to the moon-lander.
