Hi, I made this thing for our pet rats. It mounts to the top of the cage using a 80mm x 7mm bolt and wing nut. Our rats absolutely adore it. We put a small bit of soft bedding in the house and they love to curl up in it for a snooze. Sometimes together! You might be able to print without supports if your printer is very dialled in but I recommend that you place some supports under the top of the sphere on the inside just to help the last few layers at the top. No supports required touching the bed. I
