At standard scale, the outer diameter is 80mm, while the internal storage area has a diameter of approximately 72mm. You can scale up or down slightly if needed, but keep in mind that this may affect the fit of parts and clearance. The design features a circular groove at the base that accepts a small rubber band, keeping the print from moving around on its surface. This rubber band creates a gentle grip that prevents the outer shell from spinning out of control. With a little downward force, you can rotate the outer shell without having to hold onto the base part. A cleverly designed support ring is built into the design, making it easy to remove after printing.
