Spheres in Spheres
thingiverse
Spherical shells with axially aligned and semi-uniformly distributed holes employ either disco-ball or golden spiral patterns. This project is a work in progress, potentially useful for abstract math sculptures. The Python script spheres.py generates an OpenSCAD program, requiring adjustments to modify the number of holes or scale size. OpenSCAD rendering allows for hole shape customization within the generated program. Note that command line parameters are currently unsupported.
