Sphere Trisection/Dissection: Three Congruent Pieces Yet another captivating dissection of a sphere into three congruent pieces is presented here. This design is inspired by a Reid dissection of a cube (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2993980), which provides an interesting framework for embedding a sphere within a cube and experimenting with various manipulations. Three identical copies are required to reconstruct the complete sphere, making it a fascinating challenge. To add more visual interest, I have included a shelled version of the design as well. About Printing A small overhanging piece is present in the model, which can be printed without issues on my printer. However, if necessary, some support material may need to be added for successful printing. Alternatively, the sphere can be rotated and then printed with additional support material for the spherical bottom section.
