Designing/Customizing To take your design to the next level, use the customizer tool to create your own pieces and experiment with various parameters. You can even use the OpenSCAD file to make your very own designs. When adding text, make sure it doesn't overlap with other pieces, as this will disrupt assembly. To avoid this, adjust the text scale and offset parameters. Printing Test-print some pieces before finalizing them, to get a feel for how they fit together. If you find that they're either too tight or too loose, simply adjust the gap parameters in your customized design. Assembly Since our puzzle is 3D, putting it all together might not be as straightforward as you initially think. Remember that every piece, including connectors, is slightly smaller on the inside to accommodate assembly. Don't worry if some pieces get tricky; figuring out their order and connector neck gap parameters will require some thinking. In rare cases, you may need to adjust the latter for a seamless fit (it was a challenge for us too!). More Fonts Ahead The customizer only offers certain fonts by default. For those who want more flexibility, creating dxf files with ttf2dxf from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:96714 can solve the problem.
