Sphere Ice Maker Mold B
thingiverse
Makes one complete spherical chunk of ice, measuring 1.5 inches in diameter. Printing is straightforward; just create walls at least 1.2mm to 2mm thick for the top and bottom. Two filling methods are available: either fill the lower half over a sink and then attach the top before pouring out excess water, or place the top on first and pour water through the hole until it's about three-quarters full. It's essential not to fill the sphere completely with water, leaving some space for expansion as the liquid turns into ice; otherwise, cracking may occur. The mold comes with a plug for the top hole. While it's not necessary, this feature is included for users who prefer it. To make ice removal easy, twist the top and pull it open. Remember to print your ice maker in a food-safe material.
