Sphere Halves
thingiverse
A sphere bisected and joined by a pin can create a globe, moon, or ball. It serves as a test print for my son's request of a smooth, round object with adjustable radius via Thingiverse Customizer. However, due to their rounded tops and flat bottoms, these models might be challenging to remove from the build plate. The provided sphere was manufactured using a Replicator 2 with MakerWare at a 0.2mm layer height, 1 shell, and 25% infill, with an STL file generated from a scode sphere radius of 20mm. Ensure proper tape or plate pre-treatment to avoid difficulty in removal.
