I discovered a treasure trove of .obj files here: http://www.models-resource.com/3ds/pokemonxy/model/10675/. Next, I gave the parts a major makeover to make them easier to print. My prototype lacked the fill in the original model, so it had some unsightly hollow spots that I couldn't ignore. Fortunately, it still turned out all right despite these blemishes. Printing took about three hours using 20% infill and 0.1mm layers.
