Sperian Respirator Cap (Survivair, Honeywell)

This cap was designed specifically to fit the Sperian Opti-Fit Air Purifying Respirator mask perfectly. Currently, I'm having trouble getting a tight seal with it, so it's still under development. By applying thread tape in three layers, I managed to achieve a much better seal, although it's not yet satisfactory. The cap should also work seamlessly on the "Survivair Opti-Fit" and the "Honeywell Optifit" models because they share the same mask design. However, please note that this cap will not attach to 40mm Nato masks intended for CBRNE use. The female threads in the cap were intentionally designed to be slightly larger by 5% to prevent them from being transformed into male threads. I've also included a model of the male threads that fit perfectly into the S-Series filters, as well as a "double" height version (which may not be aesthetically pleasing but provides extra threading depth). You can use these male threads to create custom enclosure filters or room filters, adapters and other innovative applications.
